Founder and head of Megadeth. His outstanding virtuosity and sense of ingenious songwritting has been thrilling fans since the early 80's.

His Richter signature guitar strap is in a class of its own and goes very well with his signature guitar models.

The strap ends with the pin-holes are extremely tear resistant. We use a special coated material which is also used for tactical purpose (military belts, military vest slings, etc.).

Polypropylene webbing (PP), made in Germany and certified according to „Oekotex 100“ standard. Very light material that hardly absorbs any water and that does not contain softeners. On top of that, polypropylene is repeatedly fully recyclable material.

The processing and manufacturing of the strap is made in Germany.

Richter straps are handmade in Germany, combining traditional leatherwork with tough, practical design. From supple Italian nappa and waxy suede to vegan materials and soft woven jacquard, every strap is built for comfort on long gigs and to last for years.

Richter is a favourite in rock and metal, with signature straps for players such as Matt Heafy of Trivium, Jeff Loomis and Machine Head, and official collaborations with Motörhead, Powerwolf and Wacken Open Air. Richter now also makes guitar and bass strings, developed through years of working with touring players and their techs. A high-carbon core gives excellent resonance and mechanical durability, and coated sets for electric bass are made for a longer life.
