About the brand

For over 100 years, D’Andrea has helped shape the sound of modern music. In 1922, founder Luigi D’Andrea created the world’s first celluloid guitar pick, laying the foundation for a company that has spent generations making accessories trusted by musicians around the world.

Made in the USA

D’Andrea began in a New York City factory and is still a family business, now run by the third generation. Its picks are still made in the USA, cut, shaped and finished to the same standards that made the brand famous. From classic celluloid to modern Delrex and nylon, every pick is built for a consistent feel and tone, gig after gig.

D’Andrea picks have been played by the likes of Tommy Emmanuel, Richie Sambora and Slayer, and the company has produced custom prints for artists including The Beatles. Today, D’Andrea still makes private-label picks for many leading guitar brands and touring musicians.
