Mick’s Picks was founded in 2009 by John Mick, a lifelong musician from Crown Point, Indiana. Mick spotted the ukulele boom early and found that the only picks available were hard chunks of felt, so he experimented in his own workshop until he created something better. His first pick, the UKE-1, became the best-selling composite ukulele and bass pick in the USA.

Mick’s picks are made from Flex-Tex, an exclusive composite blending four different components. It’s flexible, durable and comfortable in the hand, and it brings out the warm tone of nylon strings rather than muffling it. That makes it ideal for ukulele, bass and other nylon-string instruments.

Every Mick’s pick is handmade in the USA by musicians. The range includes the 2.5mm UKE-1, the thicker 3.8mm UKE-2, vivid UKE-1 Chroma colours, and the TRIAD shape, which gives you three different playing tips on one large, easy-to-hold pick.
